About the opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Midwifes to join our friendly, forward-thinking team on a casual basis. Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital providing care to the culturally diverse and rapidly growing community in the West of Melbourne.
Our maternity services support nearly 4,000 low to moderate risk women across their childbearing journey each year. Our services include Birth Suites, Maternity Assessment Unit, Pregnancy Day stay, Antenatal as well as Postnatal services including Midwifery in the Home.
What you’ll bring
- Availability to work 1-2 shifts per fortnight
- Recent experience in Birth suites highly desirable
- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
- Current RANZCOG FSEP credentialing
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- A strong team work ethic
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: Working with Children Check. Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
