As the Finance Manager, you will join a high-performing finance team to build up and improve its processes, take the lead on all technical accounting matters and work with an array of high‑calibre stakeholders across the business.

About the opportunity

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, and the audit process whilst collaborating with the business when it comes on operational finance. Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Lead month‑end reporting, reconciliations, and financial close activities
- Managing half‑year and year‑end ASX reporting, including financial statements and remuneration reporting
- Coordinating external audit requirements and stakeholder inputs

Operational Reporting & Analysis

- Ownership of margin reporting, analysis, and forecasting
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts, banking reports, and performance insights
- Delivery of sales, operational, and management reporting across the business
- Management of sales targets, bonus calculations, and store performance reporting
- End‑to‑end ownership of stocktakes and inventory reporting
- Ad hoc analysis and involvement in business improvement projects

About you





The ideal candidate will have commenced their career in external audit before moving into industry, where they have gained 2–3 years of commercial experience. You will be a high‑performing Senior Financial Accountant ready to take the next step into a Finance Manager role, offering the chance to lead and develop a team while gaining exposure across ASX reporting, technical accounting, operational finance, and key business partnering initiatives.

- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent
- Suitable for a Big 4 or Mid‑tier 2nd / 3rd mover from audit
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in accounting/auditing‑related roles
- Passionate about technical accounting and maintaining a thorough understanding of accounting standards, with strong knowledge of those most relevant to the retail sector
- Experience auditing or working within an ASX‑listed business would be advantageous
- First‑rate communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders outside of finance
- Committed to long‑term progression and career growth, as this role will likely expand over time in responsibilities
