Seeking an experienced VCE English teacher (preferably a current or former VCAA exam assessor) for a capable Year 11 student. Looking to continue tutoring in year 12.
She is a hardworking student who has historically achieved A grades and continues to perform strongly in all other subjects. She has an excellent vocabulary and is articulate, but is currently underperforming in English due to significant anxiety around essays, SACs, and exams.
We Are Looking For a Tutor Who Can:
- Build confidence and reduce anxiety around assessment tasks
- Develop writing and essay skills
- Provide effective SAC and exam preparation strategies
- Given the mentoring and confidence-building aspects of this role, a qualified teacher is preferred over a university student tutor.
Location: Altona (in-person preferred)
