Trade Assistant

We are looking for a Trade Assistant who will be responsible for helping and supporting our Glaziers in the assistance of job preparation, site preparation, delivery of glass to the site, and site clean-up. Our branch is located in Darra, QLD, and you will work with the Glazing team. If you are based in Brisbane, Chermside or Apsley areas, this is a great opportunity to bring your skills to your next opportunity within an iconic company.

- Supporting Glaziers and Contractor Glaziers.
- General labouring assistance including team lifts of glass panels.
- Operating hand & power tools and preparing and cleaning worksites.
- Ensuring the required equipment and Glass and delivered to the site in a timely and safe manner.
- Undertaking and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

You and your experience:

- Ideally have experience in lifting and moving glass panels/glazing techniques.
- Must have current & valid C Class license (Automatic).
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong numeracy skills, ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly and concisely.
- Ability to utilise a computer to order and process receipt of goods.
