Edison Radiology is a brand new comprehensive, radiologist-led diagnostic imaging practice in Mount Waverley, launching in August 2026.

We have built something worth joining, state-of-the-art equipment including GE Revolution Ascend CT with AI Fidelity, Siemens Magnetom wide-bore MRI, and Siemens Multix Impact digital X-ray, supported by a clinical leadership team with over 20 years of experience across private and public radiology settings.

This is a genuine opportunity to join at opening. You will help shape the clinical culture, workflows and patient experience of a practice built on one principle: expert imaging, delivered with genuine care.

The Role

As a Radiographer at Edison Radiology, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging across CT, X-ray, and supporting modalities, working within a small, experienced team under the clinical direction of our Lead Radiologist. You will be instrumental in setting the standard for image quality, patient care, and operational excellence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations to a high clinical standard
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience with a compassionate, patient-centred approach
- Maintain image quality protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection compliance
- Liaise with referring clinicians and the reporting radiologist as required
- Contribute to protocol development and continuous quality improvement
- MRI competency — desirable; training and upskilling supported

What We're Looking For

- AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography)
- Experience across X-ray and CT; multi-modality exposure highly regarded
- A genuine commitment to image quality and patient care
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach




- Enthusiasm for being part of a new practice — resilient, adaptable, and proactive
- MRI accreditation or experience — advantageous but not required

About the Team

We are building a team that is of high calibre, cooperative and have what it takes to provide exceptional patient experience. You will work alongside the Chief Radiographer who leads the radiography team with a focus on image quality, protocol compliance and patient comfort. Clinical oversight is provided by the Clinical Lead and Consultant Radiologist, supported by an experienced on-site and teleradiology reporting network.
