Wellington Shire Councilhave an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organised andcollaborative administration professional to join our Governance team in the temporarypart-time role of Environmental Health Support Officer.

Working part-time, youwill support the Environmental Health team in administering the provisions ofpublic health legislation throughout Council.

Your responsibilitieswill include:

- Dataentry.
- Recordkeeping.
- Overseeingcustomer requests as they relate to Environmental Health issues.
- Inaddition, you will provide support with public health services includingimmunisation sessions, onsite wastewater management systems, premiseinspections and registrations.

To be successful in thisrole, you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; becustomer focussed, professionally presented, demonstrate initiative and bewilling to assist all internal and external stakeholders of Council. If you arean enthusiastic team player with strong administration skills, we would love tohear from you.

The successful candidate will need todemonstrate how they meet the criteria below:

- High level communicationskills with regards to dealing with compliance issues.
- Proven customer serviceskills with the ability to gain co-operation and assistance from clients,members of the public and other employees in the administration ofEnvironmental Health business unit activities.




- Sound administrativeskills with the ability to prepare routine correspondence and reports asrequired.
- Proven ability towork in a team and collaborative environment.
