About the role
There are exciting opportunities to join the team at YP SPACE MNC (YPS) to make a difference in Young Peoples lives.
These roles will be based at potentially both of our locations on the Mid North Coast NSW which is in Kempsey and Port Macquarie. The right applicant will be expected to be flexible to be able to attend both locations if required.
You will play a key role in supporting young people and their families by providing case management, residential care, and outreach services in a trauma informed way.
What you'll be doing
- Provide individualised case management support to young people, including developing and implementing case plans to address their needs
- Deliver residential care services, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities to connect with young people in the local community
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and community organisations, to coordinate holistic support for young people
- Maintain detailed case notes and records to support service delivery and reporting requirements using CIMS software
- Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification of Certificate IV or higher in youth work, social work, community services, or a related field.

- Lived experience or knowledge and understanding of homelessness
- Demonstrated experience in providing case management, residential care, or youth support services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with young people and their families
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex situations
- Commitment to a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to support young people
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Current NSW driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Must have Working With Children's Check (WWCC), National Police Check and Current First Aid with CPR.
