The Role

As Senior Manager - Compliance, you’ll play a key role in supporting and strengthening Pepper Money’s compliance framework across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll work closely with the Head of Compliance and senior stakeholders to provide trusted advice, drive regulatory change, oversee compliance monitoring and help embed a strong compliance culture across the business.

- Lead the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the compliance framework, including the compliance monitoring program.

- Lead, mentor and develop the compliance team, creating a positive, accountable and high‑performing team environment.
- Champion a strong compliance and risk culture by encouraging ownership, early risk identification and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About You

- Bring significant experience in a compliance role within Australian financial services, ideally with exposure to mortgages, asset finance or consumer lending.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of key regulatory areas including NCCP, AML/CTF, privacy, consumer credit, competition and consumer law, and related Australia and New Zealand obligations.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in law, compliance, risk management or a related discipline.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, business heads, committees, regulators and external stakeholders.
- Lead with credibility, supporting team performance while helping others build their regulatory and compliance capability.
- Apply strong analytical thinking,

judgement and problem‑solving skills when assessing compliance risks and business impacts.
- Influence stakeholders effectively and provide practical, solutions‑focused advice in a changing regulatory environment.
- Work collaboratively across teams, building strong relationships while maintaining a clear focus on quality, accountability and doing the right thing.
- Bring additional experience as an AML/CTF, AML/CFT or Privacy Officer, which would be well regarded.
