OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.

Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse workplace for every OK-er.

About the Opportunity

OKX offers deep liquidity, competitive tiered fee structures, and low-latency infrastructure across spot, perpetuals, and options, built for traders who need scale and speed

This is a strategic hire to build and own OKX’s HFT/proprietary trading relationships in the Australian market

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing exposure to digital asset products to your network of traders (proprietary trading groups, high frequency traders, and others), and building this network with OKX's support and resources

Developing a strategy to serve traders interested in exposure to digital asset products, including building a pipeline of prospects

Managing the sales cycle for traders end-to-end, including working with OKX's:
- technical experts to answer product questions; and
- business leads to align on commercials for each deal.

Taking product feedback from traders, then communicating this internally to support product improvements

Negotiating commercial terms with prospects, including fee tier structures, rebates, and liquidity provision incentives

Coordinating onboarding of new accounts, including wholesale/sophisticated investor classification, KYC, and legal documentation, working closely with OKX's Compliance and Legal Teams

Supporting technical integration conversations (API/FIX connectivity, colocation where relevant) alongside OKX's technical team

Representing OKX at industry events, conferences, and trading community gatherings to build and maintain relationships

Managing and growing existing accounts post-onboarding, including upselling to higher fee tiers or additional products

What We Look For In You

Existing relationships with market makers, proprietary trading firms, or trading infrastructure providers

At least 4 years of experience in business development or sales:
- Ideally, in industries relating to trading (for example: derivatives, CFDs, FX, commodities - with direct client experience at trading firms, proprietary trading groups, commodity trading advisers)
- With experience at a regulated exchange, broker, futures commission merchant, order management system, data provider or similar

Desire and capability to own a business line in the Australian market for a leading, global digital asset exchange

Interest in digital assets and novel financial products and infrastructure

Understanding of market microstructure, maker-taker fee models, and how HFTs/proprietary trading groups evaluate exchange venues

Familiarity with API- or FIX-based trading relationships (technical fluency not required, but comfort discussing integration requirements)

Track record of managing multi-stakeholder commercial negotiations

Based in Australia, ideally Sydney

- L&D; programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
- Various team building programs and company events
- Wellness and meal allowances
