We're looking for an Advisor Community Information to create clear, engaging and evidence-based communications that help Victorians better understand their health, make informed decisions about their care, and access the right health service at the right time.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Community Information responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Develop engaging content that supports community education and health literacy initiatives
- Create digital, social, web and print communications that help people make informed health decisions
- Work with clinicians and subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, accessible messaging.
- Contribute to multi-channel communication campaigns that reach diverse Victorian communities
- Analyse campaign performance and use insights to continually improve content and engagement
- Build strong relationships across Ambulance Victoria to deliver integrated communications that make a genuine difference
To be considered for this position you will possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (digital marketing, advertising, public relations, or communication) and/or equivalent knowledge or experience. Other requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and editing content for community information and health literacy campaigns across web, social media, intranet, digital, educational environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in simple ways
- Digital channel experience with a good understanding of the overall media landscape, online media planning, implementation and optimization
- Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as search engine optimisation, digital advertising and social media marketing
- Creative thinking, with effective creative brainstorming, ideation and problem-solving skills to develop current insights and apply innovative solutions
- Able to build and maintain rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders and provide a sound basis for productive relationships based on mutual trust and respect
