We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sandstone Capping Production Worker to join our manufacturing team at WA Stoneworks. This is a full-time position based in Carabooda, WA 6033 . In this role, you will play a crucial part in our production operations, working with reconstituted sandstone materials to manufacture high-quality capping products. You will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence whilst contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating machinery and equipment used in the sandstone capping production process
- Preparing and processing sandstone materials according to specifications and quality standards
- Monitoring production output and ensuring products meet required dimensions and finish standards
- Performing quality checks on finished capping products before they are packaged and dispatched
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly work (preferably in stone or masonry-related industries)
- The ability to operate machinery safely and competently
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job
- Any relevant qualifications or certifications in machinery operation or health and safety would be advantageous
