Manager, Product Management, Cybersecurity Products
Overview
Manager of Cybersecurity Products is responsible for driving growth and innovation across the Cyber Product suite. This role serves as the product manager and subject matter expert for cyber solutions, partnering with cross‑functional teams to launch new products, enhance existing offerings, and deliver measurable business impact. The position requires strategic thinking, technical acumen, and the ability to translate complex data‑driven insights into compelling value propositions that resonate with customers across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
As a product manager, you will articulate the benefits of Mastercard’s cyber solutions to internal and external audiences, identify product‑market fit, and develop plans to commercialise solutions. You will deliver thought leadership on current cyber trends, best practices and identify new requirements or product development opportunities. A proven track record of executing product strategy successfully against measurable objectives is required. You enjoy working in a diverse cross‑functional environment and can work independently.
Core Responsibilities of the Role
- Develop the product strategy, manage the product portfolio and develop commercialisation plans for the Cybersecurity Product suite across ANZ.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for select Cyber Solutions, with a deep understanding of the product use cases, functionalities and features.
- Partner closely with regional and global teams to identify and execute product enhancements and new product constructs to drive additional revenue opportunities, including ideation, concept validation, business case development, pricing strategy, and other market readiness activities.
- Demonstrate thought‑leadership,
product/technology development expertise and strong project management skills in the integration of technology into new product and service solutions.
- Lead product initiatives and go‑to‑market strategies across the ANZ region, managing day‑to‑day product efforts, establishing clear goals, and driving product rollout and adoption in collaboration with regional and global teams.
- Distil insights from data to solve customer pain points and drive robust, fact‑based quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations and demonstrate product value and business impact.
- Translate technical results, including those from machine learning models, into clear business insights that demonstrate financial impact and value to customers.
- Foster and maintain close partnerships with various stakeholders – Sales, Mastercard Services, Customer Success, Account leads and key customers – to gather feedback, drive ongoing product improvement, and ensure successful rollout of solutions to target customers.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences.
- Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviours through their behavioural, recognition, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and the broader payment ecosystem including an understanding of competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Strategic thinker, intellectually curious and proven track record of launching new solutions, developing go‑to‑market strategies, and growing revenue and market share.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify key issues, structure analysis, synthesize data, and provide recommendations effectively.
- Commercial acumen and ability to lead projects with external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
- Presentation skills – confidence to credibly present to external stakeholders and build trust and advocacy with internal teams.
- Proven project management skills – plan and deliver projects; track & communicate progress of allocated deliverables and ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary and matrixed setting.
- Proven people management experience and skills to manage indirect resources.
- Experience in developing product collateral, communications & marketing materials for customers and internal customer‑facing teams.
- Operates with a sense of urgency; responsive to requests from internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree.
