This casual role offers 10 + hours per week and is ideal for those who are available for after‑school care Monday to Friday with flexibility to discuss alternative times.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
- Build positive, respectful relationships with team members

Requirements
- Hold (or be working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent – highly regarded but not essential
- Previous childcare experience beneficial but not required
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Hold a current Child Protection/Safeguarding qualification
- At least one applicant with Monday to Friday after‑school care availability is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
- A passion for the education and care of school‑aged children in a play‑based environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
