- Contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference by supporting the full asset life cycle of dam projects.
- Lead site investigations and feasibility studies, design and analyses.
- Provide construction support and oversee dam operation.
- Develop and implement dam safety management systems, including dam surveillance, safety reviews and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry clients, from proposal preparation through to managing the financial and technical aspects of project delivery.
- Collaborate across the business and with clients to bring diverse skillsets together and innovate on complex problems.
Qualifications
- Chartered Professional Civil Engineer and Registered Professional Engineer (Queensland) considered favorably.
- Civil engineering qualification with relevant dam industry experience.
- Knowledge of ANCOLD and State-based guidelines and regulatory practices.
- Background in civil dam engineering with an understanding of geotechnical, structural and hydraulic aspects.
- Experience in dam safety management and risk assessment practices.
- Well‑developed technical report writing and communication skills, able to present concepts to diverse clients.
- Motivation to develop technical capability through managing project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
