Opportunity
Electrical Supervisor
As an Electrical Supervisor you will report directly to the Construction Manager and will supervise site employees, including planning, monitoring, problem solving and ensuring safety and standard compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce safe work practices, ensuring all personnel are adequately trained and supported and that HSE standards are met
- Ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget
- Supervise and evaluate workmanship and quality
- Oversee construction, ensuring compliance with GRES standards
- Actively participate and lead by example in Safe Work Practices
- Conduct pre‑start meetings daily
- Conduct safety toolbox meetings
- Participate in hazard identification, assessment and implementation of controls as identified in the client risk assessment study
- Lead incident management – notification, investigation and reporting
- Provide training,
coaching and competency assessment of personnel where applicable
- Ensure site personnel comply with site quality and environmental requirements
- Monitor site activities to minimise and control pollution and protect the environment
- Use management structures and resources effectively to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice and national standards relating to safety, health, hazard and risk management
Skills & Qualifications (All Essential)
- Electrical Trade certificate
- Electrical licence – state dependent
- White Card
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the construction of mineral process plants
- S26 Statutory Supervisor Training
- Current First Aid certificate with CPR & LVR
- Current driver’s licence
- Current National Police clearance within 6 months
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical including drug & alcohol screen
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
