We’re now looking for an ambitious and driven Assistant Hotel Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the hotel’s next chapter.

About the Role

As Assistant Hotel Manager, you’ll work closely with the Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the property and ensure every guest receives the exceptional experience The Tamborine is known for.

This is a visible, hands‑on leadership role overseeing front‑of‑house operations, food and beverage service and housekeeping coordination. You’ll support and develop the team, maintain service standards and help drive an efficient, commercially successful operation.

You won’t simply be following established procedures. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve the guest journey and make a genuine impact across the hotel.

This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging hospitality leader ready to take their first step into senior hotel management. You’ll gain experience across all areas of the operation,



develop your commercial and leadership capabilities and be supported on a clear pathway towards becoming a future Hotel Manager.

About You

- You’re a natural hospitality professional who leads from the front, builds solid relationships and takes genuine pride in creating memorable experiences.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Experience in food and beverage operations
- A warm, authentic personality and strong interpersonal skills
- The confidence to lead, coach and motivate a team
- An understanding of labour management, cost of goods and operational performance
- Strong attention to detail and high service standards
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
- A genuine desire to learn, grow and progress into senior hotel management
- Experience with a property management system, highly regarded
