Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Employee Relations Advisor to join their People team on a contract through to 31 December .
Based on-site in Wodonga, this role will provide critical support to a busy Employee Relations function during a period of significant organisational change.
Working alongside an experienced Employee Relations team, you'll be responsible for managing frontline HR enquiries, coordinating employee relations matters and supporting leaders through the early stages of workplace issues.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a HR generalist or employee relations background looking to further develop their ER capability within a large, complex organisation.
The role is also open to more experienced Employee Relations professionals who are looking to take ownership of more complex case management while supporting a collaborative Employee Relations team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and triage employee and manager enquiries through a shared inbox and ticketing system.
- Liaise with leaders to understand workplace issues and gather relevant information to support Employee Relations matters.
- Coordinate Employee Relations documentation, correspondence and case administration.
- Provide timely advice on HR policies,
procedures and employee lifecycle queries.
- Support Employee Relations Managers across a range of matters including performance, conduct, grievances and workplace issues.
- For more experienced candidates, manage end-to-end Employee Relations cases and workplace investigations where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure enquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and service delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a Human Resources, Employee Relations or People Advisory role.
- Exposure to employee relations, performance management, grievance handling or HR advisory support.
- Open to both developing HR professionals looking to strengthen their Employee Relations capability, as well as experienced Employee Relations practitioners seeking to manage more complex casework in a contract opportunity.
- Experience working within a large, complex environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and administration capability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience using HRIS platforms, shared inboxes or ticketing systems will be highly regarded.
