Estimator – Full-Time
Location: Welshpool, Western Australia 6106
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

MINPROVISE INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD is a leading total solutions provider delivering specialist maintenance and shutdown services, engineering, fabrication, project services, and sustaining capital works. We also provide a comprehensive range of equipment and products, supporting the mining, oil & gas, and construction industries across Australia and internationally. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team on a full‑time basis.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tenders, and quotations for engineering, fabrication, maintenance, shutdown, and industrial projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to assess project requirements, develop competitive pricing, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for projects.
- Analyse labour, materials, equipment, subcontractor, and project-related costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare cost breakdowns based on project requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliers to clarify project requirements.
- Assist with tender preparation,



pricing strategies, and commercial submissions.
- Monitor market conditions, material costs, and industry trends affecting project pricing.
- Identify potential project risks, cost variations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, databases, and historical cost information.
- Assist project teams with budget preparation, cost tracking, and variation assessments.
- Ensure all estimating activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years of full-time experience as an Estimator or in a similar estimating role.
- Experience within mining, engineering, fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of project costing, estimating principles, and tender processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and scopes of work.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates within required timeframes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/project management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
