We are Australia's leading quick-casual Mexican Restaurant brand, and as the Retail/Restaurant Manager at GYG, you will lead the charge in overseeing daily operations, maintaining the highest standards of quality, adhering to all procedures, while embodying the GYG spirit.
About the position
Lead, supervise and motivate a team of more than 100 employees to achieve operational excellence
Recruit, train, mentor and develop team members while fostering a positive workplace culture
Prepare staff rosters and effectively manage labour costs and workforce planning
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring smooth and efficient service
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability
Manage inventory levels, preparation, storage and stock ordering to ensure continuous product availability and minimise waste
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and OH&S; legislation to ensure safety for both our guests and employees




Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner to maintain high guest satisfaction
Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor the ongoing training process
Maintain restaurant presentation, cleanliness and equipment in accordance with the GYG brand standards
Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to improve business performance
Ensure compliance with all company procedures and relevant Australian workplace legislation
