Field Services Technician – Electrician

Air Liquide Australia is a market‐leader in gases and industrial technologies. We are seeking a trade‐qualified Queensland electrician for a energetic field role with a company vehicle and comprehensive allowances, supporting our central Queensland operations.

Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on gas reticulation systems, control panels, and customer installations following the Maintenance Scheduler plan.

/n

- Respond rapidly to emergency service calls to diagnose electrical faults, formulate corrective actions, and execute high‐quality repairs with minimal rework.

/n

- Preserve assets by ensuring equipment remains safe, fit for purpose, and extendable; escalates complex technical or engineering challenges to regional engineers when necessary.

/n

- Provide on‐site coverage across Central Queensland, participating in a bi‐weekly 7‐day on‐call roster to maintain continuous customer supply and uptime while prioritising safety.

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Current Queensland Electrical License (trade qualification).

/n

- Current, valid State Driver's License (MR class highly regarded).

/n

- Strong safety commitment and customer‐site service experience; willingness to participate in a 7‐day on‐call roster per month with travel across Mackay and surrounding areas.

/n

- Full Australian working rights.

/n

- Highly regarded tickets and experience (advantageous):/n

/n





- Mine site inductions such as Standard11 / Mine Clearances.

/n

- High‐risk tickets including forklift (LF), elevated work platform (EWP), confined space, and rigging licences.

/n

- Experience servicing rotating equipment, industrial air compressors, instrumentation, automated systems, or gas reticulation and pressure vessels.
