Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be a trusted business partner to operational leaders, helping turn financial data into actionable insights that drive performance, improve decision-making and support the achievement of business outcomes.

What you'll be doing

/n

/n

- Partner with operational leaders across Country Club Tasmania, providing financial guidance and commercial insights to support informed decision-making and business performance

/n

- Own the monthly financial reporting process, including P&L; management, journals, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis.

/n

- Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, translating financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations

/n

- Monitor key performance indicators including labour, revenue, margins and cost of goods sold, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

/n

- Contribute to financial governance, statutory reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, processes and reporting

/n

- Build strong relationships across the business, helping operational teams understand financial performance and achieve commercial outcomes.

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team in a full time, permanent role based at Country Club Tasmania, Prospect Vale, Launceston.

/n

About the Candidate

/n

/n

- CPA or CA qualification, together with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

/n

- Demonstrated experience in a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant or similar commercial finance role.

/n

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.

/n

- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational support

/n

- A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail and a passion for helping leaders make better business decisions.
