About the Role:
/n
MEC NT are seeking an experienced Electrical Production Supervisor to lead one of our project sites. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing electrical production activities, workshop personnel, quality, safety and delivery performance.
/n
Unlike a traditional construction supervisor role, this position is based in a production environment where planning, coordination and efficient workflow management are critical to success.
/n

What you'll be doing:
/n
/n
- Lead and supervise electricians, apprentices, trade assistants and workshop personnel
/n
- Coordinate daily production activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule
/n
- Plan labour, equipment, materials and resources to maximise productivity
/n
- Monitor quality standards and ensure products are built to specification
/n
- Oversee testing,
commissioning and quality control processes
/n
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, electrical standards and company procedures
/n
- Manage workshop workflow, priorities and production schedules
/n
- Liaise with Project Managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
/n
- Mentor apprentices and develop capability within the team
/n
- Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity
/n/n
What we're looking for
/n
/n
- Current Electrical Licence (essential)
/n
- Current Driver's Licence
/n
- Previous experience in a Supervisor, Leading Hand or Foreman role
/n
- Strong electrical trade background
/n
- Experience managing teams in a workshop, production or construction environment
/n
- Excellent planning, communication and leadership skills
/n
- Sound understanding of WHS and quality requirements
/n
- Ability to lead by example and build a positive team culture
/n/n
