About the Prospect

Vineyard Operator

As a Vineyard Operator, you will be responsible for day-to-day vineyard operations across all three Cape Mentelle sites.

You will work closely with the Viticulturist and Site Supervisors, assisting with vineyard operations.

What you’ll do:

- All Tractor operations, including spraying, mowing, canopy management and harvest activities.
- Daily equipment cleaning, routine and preventative maintenance
- Compliance and record keeping
- Maintenance of vineyard sites, including surrounds, facilities, and reserves
- Active OH&S; and continuous improvement participation through safety meetings,



toolboxes, and inspections

Qualifications

- Previous experience in vineyard operations, or related agricultural experience
- Flexibility to adapt to differing work environments and vineyard sites
- Can work autonomously and problem solve as required
- Able to safely lift and carry heavy items, and drive for extended periods, including on rough terrain
- Can work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team culture
- Understanding and/or experience in sustainable farming desirable
- Drivers Licence and own transport
