About the role
You will provide administrative and logistical support for curriculum delivery, including coordination of teaching activities, meetings, and events, general office support, and maintaining shared spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective administrative support to academic staff.
- Assist with the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine curriculum and associated materials.
- Format the curricular material and documents.
- Coordinate the logistics of the School's lecturer program.
- Assist with School's procurement process and invoice payments for Finance.
- Maintaining student attendance for each compulsory component.
- Organise meetings and events.
- Coordinate academic room bookings.
- Provide secretarial support to committees as required.
- Provide regular reception support and backup support to other administrative staff within the School during peak and vacation periods.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Completion of a Diploma level qualification with relevant work‑related experience; and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/training.
- Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other education sectors.
- Demonstrated experience providing secretarial support for committee meetings, including the preparation and delivery of agendas, minutes and associated documents.
- Demonstrated competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, timetabling programs (eg Celcat) and Learning Management System (eg Blackboard).
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Strong analytical skills enabling the identification and resolution of issues.
- Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
