Digital Solution Architect

Reporting directly to the Head of Domain Architecture Digital Product and Publishing, the Digital Solution Architect will design and execute solution architectures that align with our enterprise strategy. The role focuses on creating robust, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that address complex business challenges and drive long‑term architectural vision and roadmap.

Responsibilities

- Design solution architecture across a scaling portfolio including mobile apps, web platforms, digital publishing, personalization engines, and AI initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders and engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable, clearly defined architectures.
- Develop high‑level and detailed designs prioritizing enterprise scalability, robust security, performance, and maintainability.
- Make authoritative decisions on technology investments, balancing cost‑efficiency, compatibility, and strategic viability.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate with cloud and development teams to integrate architectural components.

Qualifications

- 6+ years in Architecture & Design, including 2+ years leading architecture for large‑scale strategic projects.
- Extensive experience across modern platforms, design frameworks, front‑end/back‑end paradigms, native mobile apps, CMS, CDN/WAF, and cloud solutions.
- Hands‑on AWS experience highly desirable.




- Targeted expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and large‑language‑model (LLM) solutions that enhance business outcomes.
- Solid ability to simplify and present complex technical solutions to executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior exposure to the media or digital publishing sector is a strong advantage.
