Orderly – Perioperative Services – Permanent full‑time & part‑time positions at Cabrini Malvern

Overview

Our Perioperative Services department consists of 23 modern operating theatres, a hybrid theatre, three endoscopy suites and three cardiac catheter labs. We offer a diverse patient mix including orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, obstetrics, ENT, plastics, general, paediatrics, cardiac and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

- Safely transport and move pre‑ and post‑operative patients within and outside the department.
- Assist with the timely transportation of medical equipment, supplies and courier items throughout the hospital.
- Provide support as directed by a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff.
- Deliver high‑level customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
- Perform cleaning duties and waste management, and help maintain cleanliness of equipment.
- Contribute to a high‑performing team that focuses on exceptional quality care.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a hospital orderly (preferred).
- Victorian Working with Children Check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.




- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, take direction and prioritise work.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and patient‑centred care.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, attention to detail and a customer‑service focus.
