JV Recruitment is currently pushing into a range of Civil Construction projects across Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs, including Cranbourne, Clyde, Somerville, Koo Wee Rup, Drouin and Officer.

Roles range from labourers to leading hand. Labourers require a minimum of 12 months experience in civil construction. Leading hand positions are open to experienced labourers who hold machine operating tickets and wish to progress their career. Opportunities often move into operating roles within 6–12 weeks.

All positions start immediately and offer extensive overtime opportunities at overtime rates. The majority of candidates progress into full‑time roles.

ON OFFER

- $36.67–$40.00 per hour (experience/role dependent) + super + coinvest
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional travel allowance ($22.98 per day)




- Time‑and‑a‑half and double‑time rates paid for overtime
- On‑going roles

ROLE DUTIES

Labouring duties: work alongside plant operators and site management, using a variety of tools; run conduits, assist plant operators and pit works.

Leading hand duties: assist in labouring duties, operate plant (where tickets are held), manage small teams of labourers, and liaise with site management to plan future works.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- White Card
- Full Australian work rights
- Work well within a team workplace
- 12 months construction experience (essential)
- Background in civil construction
- Full PPE
- Relevant machinery tickets (desired but not essential)
- Transport (desirable but not essential)
