Location: Shepparton, VIC 3630
Employment Type: Full-time, 12‑month Fixed‑Term
Pay: $39.91 per hour + Superannuation

Goodstart Shepparton – Bourchier Street is seeking a Diploma‑qualified Educator to support the learning and development of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Working alongside Senior Educators and the centre leadership, you will contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating a play‑based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Centre Overview

Our 105‑place centre is located next to Bourchier Street Primary School and offers spacious, light‑filled learning environments, large outdoor play spaces, and strong connections with local schools and the wider Shepparton community through excursions and events.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children.
- Apply the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards to plan and assess child learning pathways.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning setting.
- Collaborate with Senior Educators and centre leadership to continually improve child learning outcomes.
- Communicate and build relationships with families to support child development.

Qualifications

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).




Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geckko platform.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current Victoria Working with Children Check.
