Fixed term, full time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 February 2027 until 7 February 2028.

- Appointments up to 24 months may be available for suitable applicants

Responsibilities:

- Work on the resident roster and fill a registrar role when gaps arise due to unexpected leave.
- Compile the resident roster with consultant assistance, manage leave, and encourage resident participation in educational and unit activities.
- Meet with new residents at the beginning of rotation and maintain regular contact with the O&G; resident cohort.
- Undertake appropriate audit and research activities.
- Provide care of patients in wards,



including daily ward rounds and specialist/registrar ward rounds, and record all decisions in the medical history.
- Maintain a current driver’s licence as a required credential.

Qualifications:

- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Eligibility for employment in a position normally occupied by a Senior Resident Medical Officer.
- Six months of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Completion of required security and background checks, including convictions for crimes of violence, sex‑related offences, serious drug offences, and crimes involving dishonesty, as well as a review of disciplinary action in previous employment.
