Administration Assistant – Medical Imaging Department
Permanent Full Time (Monday to Friday) – Cabrini Malvern location.
Overview
Our Medical Imaging Department provides 24/7 services at the Malvern campus, delivering imaging care to outpatients, inpatients and Emergency Department patients. The department seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to help ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the department. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be working in a busy environment with rotating shifts across a 24/7 service (Monday – Friday shift times ranging between 7:30am and 6:00pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emails and incoming calls to the department switchboard, managing enquiries and scheduling appointments
- Welcome and register patients and complete general accounts and billing duties
- Assist with collating patient reports and mailing patient discs to requested doctors
What We’re Looking For
- Previous office experience, preferably within medical reception
- Computer literacy and proficiency or ability to learn patient administration software
- Excellent customer service, communication skills and telephone technique
- Exceptional organisational, time‑management and prioritising skills
- Ability to follow set processes and demonstrate respect for confidentiality
