Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) – Full time

- Full time - 37.5 hours per week
- Long-term placement of 2-4 years (or longer by negotiation)
- Minimum $69,000pa
- Required number of positions – 25
- Commencement between August 2026 – September 2027

Your role

Under the supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, PCA's deliver high quality, direct resident care that supports their dignity and provides for their social, physical, cultural and emotional needs.

Job Description

- Supports residents with daily activities, such as mobility and personal care
- Provides engagement and social support to residents
- Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver services in accordance with health plans and directions from supervising health care professionals
- Complies with Aged Care Standards within a residential aged care facility
- May perform specialised personal care,



such as palliative care and dementia support

Your skills & experience

- Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant aged care qualification is essential as mandated for the role
- Knowledge and experience for caring for the individual social, spiritual and cultural needs of aged residents would be highly desirable
- Employees of TGSH must qualify to work in Australia and successful applicants will be required to undergo a NDIS worker assess screening.
