About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Unit on a Permanent basis. We are welcoming candidates to apply who can commit to 16 and 38 hours per week.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care that helps patients regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll play a valued role in delivering exceptional care while continuing to grow your clinical skills in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team, you will support the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate rehabilitation care.
You will:
- Deliver patient-centred nursing care within your scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, comfort and recovery goals.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.
- Monitor, recognise and report changes in patients' health status and clinical condition.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
- Support patient education and encourage participation in their recovery journey.
- Maintain a secure clinical environment through adherence to workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development and mandatory training activities.
About you
You are a caring and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
You will bring:
- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care within an acute or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, observation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care with compassion, dignity and respect.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Sound documentation and clinical reporting skills.
- A proactive approach to ongoing learning, career development and quality improvement.
