Solicitor or Associate, Professional & Financial Risks – Adelaide

The Role

As a Solicitor or Associate in our Professional and Financial Risks team, you’ll support clients on complex public liability and qualified indemnity matters, spanning Directors & Officers (D&O;), construction PI, property damage, and professional liability. You’ll help insurers and insureds navigate significant claims, including material damage and construction all‑risk policies.

What You’ll Do

- Advise on claims strategy for D&O;, PI, and construction policies, including complex multi‑party disputes.
- Defend directors and professionals in PI claims involving diverse professions.
- Work closely with London and Australian‑based insurers and a broad range of professionals in defending claims against them.
- Assist with providing indemnity advice on government policies.




- Contribute to a team culture that values commerciality, collaboration, and client‑focused solutions.

What We’re Looking For

- A Solicitor or Associate with experience in professional indemnity, public liability or insurance litigation.
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to produce clear coverage advice and litigation documents.
- Strong client‑management skills, with a track record of building relationships with insurers and claims managers.
- A pragmatic, commercial approach to problem‑solving and strategy.
- Curiosity about the evolving financial lines landscape, including regulatory trends and emerging risks.
