We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Aitkenvale branch team as our Personal Banking Consultant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance.

As a Personal Banking Consultant, your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to customers and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services. This is a full-time position based on a 38 hour work week, and the successful applicant will be willing to work at any branch within the Townsville region as required.

Responsibilities





- Provide exceptional level of personalised service to customers and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs and problem solving.
- Proactively promote the bank's products and services to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with branch teams to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient service.
- Be flexible to work across branches within the Townsville region as required.

Qualifications

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated sales experience
- Cash handling experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
- Demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
- Experience in the Finance industry (desirable)
