About the Role
Lead a high‑performing Strategic Execution team within our Financial Performance & Analysis (FP&A;) function, responsible for translating enterprise strategy into executable business plans. The role works closely with many functions across icare and alongside the finance business partnering team to ensure alignment between strategic priorities, investment decisions, financial plan (budgets) and operational delivery. As Head of Strategic Execution, you will lead a team of strategic finance, portfolio management and performance reporting specialists to support the FP&A; in delivering enterprise insights and execution discipline. The role requires strong executive‑level influencing skills and works closely with the General Manager of Financial Performance & Analysis to drive improved strategic decision making across icare.

Duties
- Partner with executives to translate enterprise strategy into clear strategic priorities, measurable outcomes and executable business plans.
- Lead the integration of strategic planning, financial planning and investment planning.
- Ensure clear processes in place to drive financial discipline and accountabilities from business case through to initiative execution and benefit realisation.
- Ensure consistent application of frameworks, controls and standards across planning, reporting and performance management.
- Oversee the design, development and optimisation of systems and tools that support planning, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Own the management reporting calendar and timely delivery of annual reporting calendar.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in financial performance management, project management, and/or strategy realisation, within complex and large‑scale organisations.
- Experience leading or supporting enterprise‑wide strategic planning and execution activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership to drive performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in management reporting, financial planning processes and performance analysis, including delivery of Executive and Board‑level reporting and scorecards.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading financial systems, reporting tools or data environments.
- Proven capability in establishing and maintaining portfolio and project management governance frameworks and controls.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement, including simplification, standardisation and automation of systems, processes and reporting.
