This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the stability, security and continuous improvement of enterprise technology services while driving strategic initiatives that support the organisation's long-term objectives. You'll lead a broad technology function, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver reliable services, modernise platforms and build a high-performing operational environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the executive technology leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading enterprise technology operations across infrastructure, cloud services, networks, workplace technology and service management.

You’ll oversee both internal technical teams and strategic technology partners, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard while driving continuous improvement, operational maturity and service excellence.

You’ll also play a significant role in shaping the future technology roadmap by leading modernisation initiatives, improving operational resilience and enhancing the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership across enterprise technology operations;
- Ensure the availability, security and performance of critical technology services;
- Lead infrastructure, cloud and workplace technology initiatives from planning through to delivery;
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, operational processes and customer experience;




- Develop and mature IT service management practices, governance and operational standards;
- Lead strategic vendor and managed service provider relationships, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and service performance;
- Partner with business leaders to align technology services with organisational priorities;
- Oversee operational risk, business continuity and disaster recovery capability; and
- Build, mentor and develop high-performing leaders and technical teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation

About You

We're looking for an experienced technology operations leader with a proven background leading enterprise infrastructure environment within large organisations.

You will bring

- Extensive leadership experience across technology operations, infrastructure and cloud environments;
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles and operational governance;
- Experience leading both internal technology teams and outsourced service providers;
- A track record delivering technology transformation and operational improvement initiatives;
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing vendors, contracts and technology budgets;




- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate confidently at executive level; and
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
