About the Role

As Senior Occupational Hygienist, you'll take the lead on complex occupational hygiene assignments — from scoping and fieldwork through to team management, reporting and client presentation. You'll work across a varied client base, manage your own project portfolio, and play a key role in further developing our hygiene service line.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and lead occupational hygiene monitoring programs, including airborne contaminants (dust, silica, asbestos fibres), noise, vibration, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality
- Conduct site assessments and exposure monitoring in line with relevant Australian Standards and WHS legislation
- Manage client relationships and act as a technical point of contact
- Participate in report and peer reviews
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior hygienists and field technicians
- Contribute to proposals, tenders, and business development initiatives
- Ensure all fieldwork and reporting meet quality, safety, and NATA/accreditation requirements

About You

- Tertiary qualification in occupational hygiene, environmental science, health science, or a related discipline
- Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH)



status through the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH), or actively working towards certification
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in occupational hygiene consulting or a similar industry role
- Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, exposure standards, and relevant monitoring methodologies
- Proven experience managing projects and client relationships independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional regional/interstate travel
- Demonstrated ability to mentor a diverse team across multiple locations
