Development Manager (Commercial / Office Mixed Use) – Sydney c.$200k + Super + Bonus

Our client is a private Real Estate Investment Group, based in Sydney who boast a solid track record of delivering major real estate projects across the country, via both direct ownership and capital partnerships across various asset classes typically encompassing precincts and mixed-use assets. They hold a robust strategy of development focused growth within the commercial sector broadly and maintain a national footprint in terms of current pipeline.

Responsibilities

- Assist the development team with leasing, AFL’s and tenant strategy. This is a highly transactional and growth platform that requires a DM who is commercially focused and able to execute leasing opportunities for the platform;
- Assist with the sourcing and financial analysis of development opportunities, effective rents and general acquisitions task;
- Assisting the ADM’s in the drafting of investment papers and pitch documentation, as well as assist with submissions and marketing as required;




- Work with the development team across the execution of projects from a design and DA submission perspective, curating a cohort of consultants and working within the planning controls sphere;
- Assist with broad tendering process for design, consultants and head contractor throughout various stages of the lifecycle;

Requirements

- Degree qualified in Property Economics, Construction, Finance, Engineering or equivalent field;
- Solid track record in development management and projects, resource allocation and reporting;
- Strong people skills and can manage ambiguity and changes effectively;
- Understanding / knowledge of the NSW planning environment;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients and meet shifting priorities and deadlines;
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills;
- Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
