Job Summary

As a Swimming Teacher you will teach effective swimming and water safety to help grow our swim program. This is a casual role which requires you to work mornings, evenings and weekends, and you must be empathetic to the needs of the classes.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach swimming and water safety to a diverse range of students including children and adults.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and patrons to ensure maximum benefit and enjoyment.
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment and adhere to all safety and public safety guidelines.

Required Skills and Attributes

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within the facility.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate.
- Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check.
- Current Swim Teacher Certificate.




- Previous experience in a comparable role is highly regarded but not essential.
