About the Role

Step into a career‑defining leadership role at Monash Health where you will be supported by a large and experienced Grade 4 clinical leadership team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to lead and shape our acute services, drive innovation, and make a real impact in pelvic health care.

The successful candidate can choose their preferred EFT within the range of 0.20 EFT (15.2 hours per fortnight) to 0.60 EFT (45.6 hours per fortnight). Requests for flexible start and finish times will be considered.

Responsibilities

- Lead and develop our acute pelvic health physiotherapy service across inpatient, outpatient, and advanced practice settings.
- Be part of a high‑performing team of clinical leaders, committed to continuous growth, mentoring, and excellence in care.
- Work in close collaboration with our dedicated continence service, as well as Medical Directors, Nursing and Midwifery Managers, and Senior Allied Health Leaders.
- Drive research, teaching, and quality initiatives, including competency‑based assessments and service innovation.
- Build strategic relationships across Monash Health, with other health networks nationally and internationally, and with key teaching organisations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Extensive experience in physiotherapy assessment, intervention, case management, and discharge planning across the continuum of pelvic health care.
- Advanced knowledge in the application of evidence and theory to practice in the area of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
- Ability to develop and lead professional development of undergraduate, professional and postgraduate physiotherapists as well as the wider multidisciplinary team.




- Advanced level of recognised clinical leadership experience in an acute physiotherapy service including service development and leading others through change.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver safe, consumer‑focused care.
- Previous experience leading both formal research projects and quality improvement activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills in organisation, time management, planning and priority setting.

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
