We are seeking skilled and dedicated Multi Combination (MC) Drivers to join our team. As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of perishable goods using refrigerated trucks. These roles require a strong commitment to maintaining the cold chain procedures, adhering to road transport laws, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
- Structure 4 days on / 4 days off (extra shifts available)
Dispatch
- Early morning – 12/14 hour day shifts
Equipment
- Same prime mover for each shift
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate multi-combination and heavy-combination refrigerated vehicles, conduct inspections, and secure loads appropriately.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain the temperature within the refrigerated unit to ensure the integrity of perishable goods.
- Compliance: Adhere to road safety regulations, maintain accurate logbooks, and ensure compliance with weight restrictions and freight handling guidelines.
- Freight Handling: Load, unload, and verify the accuracy of perishable goods, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with clients and customers, providing excellent service and representing the company professionally.
- Maintenance: Report vehicle defects, perform minor maintenance tasks, and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
- Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, participate in safety training, and ensure a safe working environment.

About the Candidate
- Licensing: Valid Multi Combination (MC) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience as an MC driver, preferably in refrigerated transport, with knowledge of regulations and best practices.
- Skills: Robust knowledge of road safety regulations, excellent time management, organisational skills, and physical fitness for manual tasks.
