As a Physiotherapist with UnitingSA Residential Aged Care, you'll work across one of our homes in WestLakes, Seaton, Grange, Semaphore Park or HawkesburyGardens, supporting older Australians to maintain their mobility, independence, and quality of life. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver personalised assessments, treatment plans, and evidence-based care that empowers residents to live well and continue doing what matters most to them.

Your Day-to-Day

- Conduct comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Welcome new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into our care.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to create effective treatment strategies.
- Educate residents and their families on preventive care tailored to their understanding and needs.
- Maintain a holistic and professional approach to resident care, addressing all aspects of their needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, especially for complex cases.
- Liaise with equipment suppliers to ensure residents have the necessary mobility aids.
- Manage your time efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

The Ideal Physio for Us

- Holds a relevant Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration.
- Current First Aid Certificate and required clearances.
- Experience working in aged care, with the ability to assess, manage, and support residents with diverse and complex needs.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.




- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and commitment to person-centred care.
- Confident adapting to change and managing competing priorities professionally.
