Appointment Setters
No industry experience is required—we provide full, comprehensive training.
The Role
Your primary focus is connecting with business and home owners to initiate the consultation process. You will help them identify government rebate opportunities and schedule comprehensive energy efficiency evaluations. You will build interest and generate appointment opportunities using a multi-channel approach:
- Warm Outreach: Reaching out to our existing database of historical leads and old customers to review their ongoing efficiency needs.
- Organic Lead Generation: Generating fresh, local interest through community-based avenues like local flyer drops and setting up interactive shopping center consultation kiosks.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage home and business owners regarding holistic sustainability and energy efficiency programs.
- Maintain active communication to hit regular weekly performance standards.
- Log clean, accurate notes within our team CRM system.
- Maintain a high-quality "sit rate" (ensuring booked leads attend their scheduled consultations).
Pay Structure & Earnings Potential
We offer a highly competitive, quality-focused contractor pay structure that rewards real results.
- Base Contractor Fee: $700 / week (For 25 hours worked = equivalent to $28/hour).
- Quality Performance Commissions:
- A premium commission rate per scheduled consultation when maintaining a ≥ 65% client sit rate.
- A secondary commission rate if the consultation sit rate falls below 65%.
Weekly Earnings Example
- Standard Setter Achievement: $700 Base + (35 consultations × premium commission rate) = $1,575 / week
Career Progression

1. Lead Setter (Entry Level)
- Focus: Complete corporate training, master the consultation scripts, and clear your weekly assessments.
- Goal: Successfully hit entry-level assessment and client sit rate KPIs.
2. Senior Lead Setter (SLS)
- Focus:
Consistently securing premium, high-intent consultation opportunities.
- Goal: Maintain top-tier volume and high sit rates for consecutive weeks to earn your promotion.
3. Trainer
- Focus: Keep generating personal consultation bookings while developing new talent.
- Bonus: Earn an added training override bonus for every qualified consultation generated by your direct trainees.
- Responsibilities: Run field team rideouts and guide new trainees up to SLS level.
4. Energy Consultant (High-Ticket Closer)
- Focus: Complete transition into advanced energy efficiency leadership.
- Responsibilities: Conduct full assessments, close high-value sustainability agreements, and mentor local trainers.
- Reward: Access to our highest commission splits and elevated contract structures.

- Must possess an active Australian Business Number (ABN).
- Must have reliable personal transport to access our Shepparton operations.
