Senior Social Worker - Older Adult Mental Health

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our team within the Fremantle Older Adult Mental Health Service.

This is a full-time role, available on either a permanent basis or fixed-term 12-month contract, with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

As part of a consumer-focused, cooperative multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical Social Work services for older adults experiencing mental health concerns.

In this role, you will also:

- Deliver clinical care: Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and positive-aging services for consumers and their families.
- Ensure safety: Plan, execute, and evaluate consumer safety initiatives and quality of care.
- Lead a team: Supervise Social Work staff, students, and support personnel, while coordinating daily duties and managing performance.
- Maintain professional standards: Ensure all practice aligns with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards 2023 and Code of Ethics 2020 and SMHS policies and guidelines.
