The Opportunity

As Head of Operations, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across Castlerock's core business functions. Reporting directly to the CEO and leading a small team, you'll be the person who makes sure the business runs smoothly, compliantly and reliably, while also contributing to the broader leadership agenda.

This is a genuinely broad remit. You'll move comfortably between hands‑on delivery and strategic planning, and be equally at home reviewing an HR policy, interrogating an IT vendor contract, or presenting an ESG report to the Board.

What You'll Be Doing

- Shape Castlerock's core business operations: procurement, vendor management, corporate services and policy governance.
- Strengthen business continuity and operational risk controls.
- Champion our HR and non-construction WHS function – policy, compliance, employee relations and culture.
- Elevate IT infrastructure and vendor management, ensuring systems, cybersecurity and data governance meet the standards the business needs.
- Guide the day‑to‑day ESG function, team annual reporting and benchmarking.
- Lead and develop your team with clarity and purpose.




- Partner with the CEO and wider leadership team to develop and implement initiatives that drive operational excellence.

You will bring:

- A senior operations track record within property/financial services (or similar industry), where you've owned outcomes, not just contributed to them.
- Confidence taking ownership of established HR and IT functions and moving them forward, with a genuine continuous improvement mindset.
- A track record of managing HR, IT and WHS functions directly, not just overseeing them.
- Robust financial acumen and a solid understanding of governance, confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success leading and enabling individuals and teams to perform at their best.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement, and highly effective communication skills.
