Why This Role

A genuine end-to-end mandate . You won't inherit someone else's operating model — you'll build it. IT, Operations, Lending & Credit, Transformation, Collections, Payments, Systems Administration and Project Management all report through this seat.

A real transformation runway . Modernise core systems, processes and customer journeys in a bank that hasn't already been optimised three times over — with the backing and appetite to actually do it.

Purpose with teeth . As a customer-owned bank, we weigh decisions against member and community outcomes, not shareholder pressure. You'll help translate that purpose into how we operate, not just how we talk about it.

A seat at the table . Executive Committee membership and a direct line to the CEO mean your judgment shapes enterprise strategy, not just operational delivery.

Life on the NSW Mid North Coast . Lead at a genuine executive level without the commute, congestion or cost of a capital city — a senior banking career built around a coastal life, not squeezed around one.

This is the Role

The Chief Operating Officer is a member of the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the CEO, and is accountable for the end-to-end operational engine of the bank: Information Technology, Operations, Lending & Credit, Transformation, Collections, Payments, Systems Administration and Project Management. This is the role that turns Coastline Bank's strategy into operational reality: running a safe, efficient and scalable bank today, while leading the transformation and technology agenda that positions it for the future. It carries genuine prudential and operational risk accountability and calls for a leader who can balance growth, customer experience, cost, risk,

and resilience while bringing the team along.
