We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build and operate our enterprise data platform ecosystem across Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Power BI, Power Platform and Dataverse .

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Group Manager – ICT, this role will own the end-to-end data lifecycle, including system integration, ingestion, transformation, modelling, governance and delivery of scalable data products. You will play a key role in supporting Re.Group’s transition from legacy platforms to a modern, secure and governed enterprise data environment.

About the role

- Design, build and maintain data pipelines across Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
- Develop and manage medallion, lakehouse and data warehouse architectures.
- Own the end-to-end data lifecycle, from integration and ingestion through to modelling and delivery.
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, datasets and dashboards.
- Develop and support Power Automate workflows and Dataverse-based solutions.
- Integrate enterprise systems using APIs, connectors and data pipelines.
- Ensure strong data quality, lineage, governance, security and access controls.
- Optimise platform performance, scalability, reliability and cost.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and governed data solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Operations and other business functions to improve reporting and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce siloed reporting.




- Support the integration with TM1 and provide limited oversight of the platform where required.

About you

- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Power Platform.
- Experience working with Snowflake, including data modelling, pipelines and optimisation.
- Strong SQL and data modelling capability.
- Demonstrated experience with APIs, system integration and data pipeline development.
- Sound understanding of data governance, security and information management standards.
- Ability to work across both technical delivery and business stakeholder engagement.
- Comfortable working in a transformation environment involving legacy-to-modern platform transition.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated, outcome‑focused and committed to continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with TM1 or IBM Planning Analytics, ERP or data platform transformation programs, AI‑enabled analytics, or operational and asset‑intensive environments will be highly regarded.
