Optio6 Talent Partners has partnered exclusively with a well‑established Brisbane law firm to appoint an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor.
This is an opportunity for a Queensland‑based Senior Litigation Solicitor in a collaborative and respected private practice. The successful candidate will enjoy autonomy, appear in court, and work closely with clients across a broad range of disputes that genuinely matter to people and businesses.
About the Role
You will manage your own file load with a high degree of autonomy from day one, including:
- Conducting litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Appearing in Queensland Courts, with and without counsel
- Advising clients strategically and practically throughout disputes
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and correspondence
- Managing negotiations and settlement discussions
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
- Collaborating across the firm’s broader practice areas
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 5+ years PAE in Queensland (would consider less based on experience)
- Holds an unrestricted Queensland practising certificate
- Can confidently manage litigation matters autonomously
- Has experience appearing in QLD Courts
- Enjoys a varied litigation practice rather than highly specialised commercial litigation only
- Communicates confidently with clients and colleagues alike
- Values collaboration, professionalism and practical client outcomes
Experience across commercial disputes, property disputes, estate litigation, insolvency, neighbour disputes or general civil litigation will all be highly regarded.
