What You’ll Do

We are growing the capability within our Operations & Maintenance team. As the Asset Management Specialist , you will be responsible for leading the establishment of the asset management framework for the Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) Project and ensuring future owner requirements, lifecycle outcomes and operational needs are incorporated into project development, design, procurement and delivery activities. Reporting to the Head of Operations & Maintenance , you will be accountable for developing Queensland Hydro's future asset management approach for the project and ensuring asset owner requirements remain traceable through design, procurement, commissioning and handover.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Develop the long-term asset management framework for the Borumba PHES Project aligned with ISO 55001.
- Define asset management objectives, governance and performance measures.
- Define requirements for future enterprise asset management systems, asset information management systems,



asset data architecture and information handover requirements.
- Coordinate owner updates to concepts of operations, project performance requirements, asset information requirements and operations and maintenance philosophies.
- Establish owner requirement traceability processes and lead asset handover and acceptance planning activities.
- Lead development of handover and asset acceptance criteria.
- Ensure maintainability and total lifecycle value are embedded in design decisions.

Who You Are

To be successful in this position, you will have qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management or a related discipline and hold Certified Practitioner in Asset Management or IAM qualifications. Additionally, you will demonstrate:

- Knowledge of hydroelectric generation,damsand major energy infrastructure assets.
- 10+ years’ asset management experience in power generation, utilities, water infrastructure, mining or heavy industry.
- Experience implementing ISO 55001-aligned asset management frameworks, EAM systems, asset information management and project assurance activities.
- Experience with EAM systems and asset information management.
- Experience supporting design reviews and capital project assurance.
