Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching and lead innovative curriculum design across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, ensuring engaging and contemporary learning experiences.
- Establish and grow a high‑impact research program aligned with the School’s strengths in imaging, sensing and biomedical engineering, supported by collaborative partnerships and a start‑up package.
- Supervise and mentor Higher Degree by Research students, fostering researcher development and leading successful completions.
- Contribute to academic leadership, service and engagement activities that strengthen partnerships with industry, government and the broader community.
This is a teaching & research position.
About You
- A PhD in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- A demonstrated record of high‑quality research outputs in biomedical or electrical engineering.
- Demonstrated capability or potential to attract competitive research funding.
- Evidence of effective teaching contributions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Experience or capability in course coordination and contemporary curriculum development.
- A growing record of supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to successfully lead a research team.
- A commitment to inclusive, ethical and values‑driven academic practice.
